I don't have any advice, but we did it. I think those who choose not to do it have decided that regardless of the results it would not change their decision to have the baby.
ETA: The results would not have changed our decision to have our baby, but I am not good at being unprepared. I research and prepare for things like it's nobody's business.
I did it this morning. I mostly wanted an extra u/s, but it was relieving to get the measurements done and know that we're in the "normal" range. Still waiting on bloodwork. We did not do it with DS, but I feel like we wanted to know ahead of time if there were issues.

We did. Our reasoning was that if there was something wrong, we'd like to have as much time as we could to learn about it and when the baby did come, we'd be as prepared as you can be.

I am having mine on Monday. We just want to be prepared just in case there is an issue. MIL was adopted so we are missing a chunk of family medical history and just want to know ahead of time. Plus we are looking forward to see lo again.
We will be doing one with this pregnancy. My doctor is recommending that we have it done since the miscarriage was due to chromosomal abnormalities.
This is why I'm having one. I'm pretty excited to go and see our little one. I'll be almost 13 weeks. But I'm terrified we won't have a heartbeat! (We heart it on the doppler a few days ago).
