As the girls get more active (squirming, poking each other, etc.) I wonder how long I can feed them at the same time. How long did you feed your twins together?
I'm glad you asked because it's been getting harder for me... the kids are using their legs to kick off of the back of the chair and it pulls them off. By the time i get one latched again the other one does it and then the other one.... it's sometimes a constant battle!!
My girls are 4 months 3 weeks old and tandem feeding is getting really annoying. They also do the whole push off the back of the couch and pull off their latch thing (which HURTS now and I can't imagine how it will be when there are teeth in there!). Plus they squirm in general, bat and grab at me and at each other blindly, and get distracted often, and it is much harder to re-latch one without knocking the other one off. Although it is hard to stay irritated when they stop nursing to look up at me and smile
I only do it if they are both screaming hungry or we are in a super hurry to get somewhere.

This made me laugh... exactly what happens to me every night. They aren't so bad in the morning because they are still groggy, but that 6:00 fedding is sometimes rough!
