soy formula poop

If your baby is on soy formula, is their poop really really dark green? DD's poop used to be light/medium green and mushy looking when she was on regular formula. Now it's very dark green and pretty firm. Is that normal?

DS's poop isnt green but it is firm, my pedi said that is very normal for a baby on soy formula!

B's poop is mushy, green and smells HORRIBLE (soy formula baby)

I have found the clay-like consistency twice, at those times it was dark green-brown.  And smelled just as horrible as the mushy, green poop.

Yep, that's exactly what it's like. Clay-like, dark green/brown, and smells worse than anything else I've ever smelled! Haha.

All of the above. 

We stopped soy because it constipated LO too much.  SHe didn't need it for a dietary reason; we tried it because we heard that it was good with fussiness. 

THe irony is that we traded one fussiness (general fussy/gas) for another fussiness (constipation).  So it was a zero sum game the end.

We're back to Enfamil Gentlease.
