New code word for BF

I know this is totally flameable but, DH and I need to find a new code word for DS's BF. We never talk about BF in front of DS, we usually wait til he's in bed for those conversations. DS is starting to eaves drop and he heard us refer to his BF as DB (d-bag). The only reason we were talking about him was b/c he drunk dialed me and I wouldn't let him talk to DS. Regardless, I feel sh*tty about it. DS is realizing that BF is a loser, but I'm really careful not to say anything bad about BF to DS. Not careful enough apparently though.

Maybe by the first letter of his first name? We don't talk about BM in front of SD as a rule, but every once in a while it happens. We don't use her name or call her anything to replace her name, we both know who we're talking about. If we need to refer to her as something we go with the first letter of her first name.

Code word or not, our kiddos (and I think kids in general) are smart enough to know who we are talking about. We really try not to talk about BF or BM at all within earshot of them. Like you said, they will eventually figure it out on their own.

I agree...they will figure it out eventually!  We just flat out DON'T talk about BM at all when the kids are home.

I would SO love to answer the code word part of this though (not from conversations but listing in cell phone)...but for the sake of sparing you all some drama-I won't.

We used to call BM (lovingly of course!) OC because she was addicted to OxyContin... and now, we refer to her just as BM (haha thanks Bumpies!) but not as bio-mom but bowel movement. haha.

Oh screw it-whats the worst she can do-print this and bring it to court and say "the person I THINK is my ex's wife listed me as this person on her cell phone!"  big deal.

GOOGLE!  Shirley Mason was a psych patient back in the 1950's who was diagnosed with multiple personality disorder said to fave 16 co-personalities.  Probably in bad taste to have had her in my phone as that, but that was almost 2 years ago and it made me giggle when she would call my phone at 3am drunk.

I think our code for BM is kind of funny. DH and I call BM L-dizzle all the time when it's just us talking... L is the first letter of her name. I referred to her as this, and it just caught on with DH and I, I guess. So if we do have to say anything in regards to her when the kids are in our home we call her "dizz."
