stupid questions I can't find answers to

I am new to message boards in general, so I really have no clue about how some stuff is done.

I had put some info in my signature and then added a badge.  Now my info has disappeared.  It shows in my edit area. 

How do I do signature to get info, badges and photos?  I looked in FAQs and on the left for link to directions, but can't find anything.  Feeling really dumb to have to ask.

Could be that you tried to put too much in there?

go to TTGP and click on the newbie link at the top right corner...very helpful!
