So, I had the bright idea last month of trying to start dieting when I was recovering from bronchitis. Didn't exactly give myself the best chance for success there. Needless to say, I fell off the wagon (hard) and went right back to my saturated fat and refined sugar scarfing ways.
But enough is enough! I was determined to lose at least some weight before getting PG, so hopefully I can stay committed this time. I came to work armed with apples, strawberries, yogurt and Healthy Choice Steamers. Wish me luck!
Re: I am back on the wagon today.
Good Luck! I was doing so well until last night....mmm pizza and breadsticks! lol

I feel you because I also want to lose some serious weight before we start TTC. But it's so hard for me to give up carbs/soda which are my biggest enemy. I must find the will power from somewhere.
When you feel you are about to stray just come on here and we will motivate you to stay on the right path. Good Luck!
My blog
I am limiting myself to ONE diet coke a day (I am seriously addicted to diet coke... I was literally consuming 4 a day). All that caffeine is terrible when TTC so I'm trying to wean myself off. And carbs, my old friends, I am trying to dramatically reduce those too. Plus, tomorrow I'm going to start going to the gym again. We'll see how it goes.
I started going to the gym again on Monday after being MIA for two months. The funny thing is that today I find myself searching for good reasons not to go. For example today I stapled a finger (don't ask me how) and I got a really bad papercut so in my head I am already thinking of all the germs that could get in my fingers at the gym so maybe I shouldn't go. I'm terrible. Must stay motivated.
Me and caffeine (Coke) are also best friends. With friends like that who needs enemies
Good luck, girlie!!!!!!!!! May the force be with you (with us!!).

Good luck!!!
Thanks for the compliments on my wedding cake! My daddy owns a bakery so it was his pleasure (and duty) to make me a ginormous wedding cake, lol. It was actually bigger than you can see in the picture, seven layers I think. Annnddd all FAKE. Haha, we fooled everyone. My dad made two different sheet cakes (rum and opera cake) and those were passed out at the wedding. I think only the bottom layer of the actual cake was real for us to cut, the rest was styrofoam (which he decorated with fondant, etc...).
My wedding pics are on fb if you want to check, but I think I have some pics in my knot/nest bio - I honestly don't even remember what's in there anymore, it was soooo long ago that I updated it.
oh yeah, I forgot about him owning the bakery! Styrofoam!? that's awesome!! running to FB now to check.
