Post weaning ?

Anyone have any tips or tricks that helped relieve tender breasts from weaning? It's only been 2.5 days since I last nursed and it hurts to even put my arms down. Thanks!  FWIW I did gradually wean down to nothing.

IDK, when I went thru this, I just let DD nurse a little bit since she wanted to anyway. I didn't consider it "cheating" I just considered it the tail end of "gradual" weaning.

Nursing once every couple days for a week or two is not going to be enough to increase your supply, it will help you down-regulate.

I weaned 2 1/2 weeks ago, and it takes about 3 days for your body to adjust.  It is painful, but you can put cabbage leaves (with broken veins) in your bra to help dry you up.

when I weaned DS I would only nurse for a 3-5mins after giving him the bottle. it was enough to satisfy him but not enough to whereI would start really producing milk. When DS was fully weaned there wasn't much left in either breast so it wasn't bad at all.

My LC told me to take a hot shower, but not pump or nurse unless a hot shower didn't help. It took the edge off and I did the same thing for a few days and then didn't have to after about 4 days.
