Just wanted to share. We had our last meeting yesterday. Now we are just waiting for our SW to write her report, the agency attorney to do some paperwork and then our attorney to do more paperwork. We hope to be final next month!
Our meeting was a bit sad. Our SW has been such a big part of how we became a family and now we're done meeting with her. We shared hugs and well wishes but that just doesn't seem to be enough.
Should we or has anyone sent something, flowers, candy, gift to the SW/CW after everything is done? We worked with a different SW in the city our DS was born and we did send her something.
Re: Last Post Placement Visit
Congratulations!
I have no advice on your SW question, as we only have our first post placement visit next week. I know how you feel, though. We love our SW!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I don't have any personal experience with this, but I think it would be really nice of you do do something like that. I had a cardiologist review a file for me once, and he did it for free. Unfortunately, the little girl was adopted before he could give me his prognosis (it happened really fast). I was so thankful that I sent his office a nice nut/candy basket with a note expressing our gratitude.
