Huh? i don't get your question.. EI gives you a date when your mat leave will run out, so that's when you would return to work?
I don't even think you have to inform them if you don't take the whole leave... except of course for a phone call to EI telling them to stop paying you. Otherwise once you go back to work your employer would start taking the appropriate things off of your paycheque
Meaning I am going back before the year is up. When I applied for EI I put my return date as the full year (didn't know how long I was going to take). But I am going back earlier than that.
I wasn't sure when I have to call them and tell them that I am returning to work (ie: to stop paying me). Being that it is the government I assume they need some time to process the paperwork to stop payment.
