Registry Question

I saw a post on this board or the showers board (not sure) anyways, someone mentioned something about certain stores that let you have a small discount on items that are still on your registry after your shower or due date so you can buy the items you wanted for yourself in case someone didnt get them for your shower (it happens!) We live kinda far from most of our friends and I am pretty sure the shower my MIL is throwing is going to be a small turn-out because of the distance. Anyone know which stores offer this kind of offer so we can know what places are going to help us out if others can't? Lord knows even the little things add up!

Pretty sure Babies R Us does this... and I know Bed Bath & Beyond did it for our bridal shower.

BabiesRUs has a 10% discount. I think Target does too, but I'm not positive.

Buy Buy baby has a completion discount coupon.

Yes, Target does have one too.  Make sure to tell them your due date is a month earlier than it is so they send you the coupon in time.  That is what the BRU registry lady said to do.
