Hi!
I see that you are in Alexandria. I'm in Arlington. Would you be okay sharing where you went? What hospital did you go to? I want to go to Fairfax since the NICU unit is supposed to be so excellent, so I have a peri office around there. Please feel free to PM me if you would rather share offline.
:-) Thanks!

Hi there and congrats!!
I delivered at Fairfax because of the NICU. I was really insistant in the beginning about going to Alexandria because I had heard that they had better care after delivery. My OB told me that Fairfax got some really awful reviews and made major changes to the maternity ward and convinced me that with having twins, I should go to Fairfax.
One of our twins was in the NICU for 4 weeks and we couldn't have asked for anything more for her. They were beyond excellent during an awful time for us. I also had great nurses both during the delivery and after.
Friends of mine just had their twins at Arlington. They really liked it. I don't know the level of the NICU there.
We also used the Peri group that is at Fairfax hospital. They are incredibly smart and good, but not great on the bedside manner.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be happy to answer them.
