DH and I are a little DIY-challenged (don't tell him I said that). Over the weekend I bought the Little Tikes swing, but the instructions don't really tell you how to install it on a tree. We're planning on using it on an oak tree in our front yard. If you installed a swing on a tree, how did you do it and what tools do we need? TIA!
Re: If you have a swing on a tree, please help
We have the same swing. Not sure if we installed it correctly... but we just looped the ropes over the branch and then put the rope through the metal hook so the rope is going in a circle over the branch. It is secure that way and we wanted it to be where we can take it down and put it back up when we use it and not leave it out all the time. This will only work if you have a smaller branch that you are attaching the swing. Hope that helps.

that is the swing we actually have. the Little Tikes Snug n Secure swing. It might be slightly different than yours..
Thanks. I think we can do the same thing you did, but I wanted to double-check first and make sure that wasn't just a lazy solution I made up in my head!
