How does the ticker works?

I have created my profile but having a hard time understanding how the ticker works. I have followed the entire process and nothing is coming up.

LOL - I had the same exact problem.  It wasn't until I posted my question asking about the ticker that I noticed it comes up automatically!

You can get the ticker code here, and then add it to your profile here. Just drop the html code in the signature section and hit save.  It may take up to ten minutes to update, then you can check any of your posts to see if it's there.

I think I finally figured out the ticker but how do i get picutres to show up in the siggy thing?
