Repost from 2nd tri, anyone with experience in high BP /preeclampsia in 2nd tri?

I had mild/moderate PE with my daughter and had to have a c/s @ 37 weeks.  The PE started about 35 weeks.  At my last appt. my BP has spiked and I have been having nasty h/a for about a week. My protein level in my 24 hours urine was 230.  The nurse is talking to the doctor and will is calling me back this afternoon.  I currently work FT and really don't want to have to go down/off yet, but I will do whatever is best for me and the baby.  Anyone else with similar experiences??

I had severe pre-e and HELLP with my son and delivered via emergency C at 36w 4d with him.  I had a BP scare with this pregnancy and was pulled from work very early.  So far, my BP has been fine and I am showing no signs, so far, of pre-e.  Be prepared to be pulled from work with your history and your current signs.  I bet they will.  Best of luck!  It's scary, I know!

Good morning - I have been having bp issues since about week 16.  At week 20 my bp spiked to 160/110 and I was put on bed rest and started bp medicine.  I did a 24 hour urine and that came back fine, no protein at my regular doctor visits yet either.  I'm working two days a week from home now, taking bp meds and going for growth u/s to ensure that LO is growing well.  I hope you get some news back soon and that things progress well for you and baby.  Good luck!
