Babies: 9 - 12 Months

A strange soda question for birthday party.

Would you buy liters? Or cans of soda?

Are liters being cheap?

Are cans of soad being wasteful?

What are your thoughts?

Strange...I know.

  • What is wrong with liters? In my mind you can have more of a variety that way if you are choosing to serve soda.

  • Cans are my vote!  DH and I dont drink much Soda so bottles would just go to waste if they were opened and not finished.  At least we could keep cans until our next event!

  • I'd buy liters, saves $$ and less waste.

I don't think there is anything wrong with liters, DH was not a fan of liters.  So I was wondering what others thought.  I am thinking cans of soad end up going to waste.  (With people filling their cup and leaving the can behind)

  • We are getting cans, because most people drink from the can anyways.  It's also easier to keep them cold.   I also find liters can go flat quickly if people don't close them tight enough, and sometimes it is difficult to pour yourself a glass of pop when you have a plate full of food.

  • We get liters and only put out a few.  We bring out more as needed.  This way the unopened ones will be used for the next party.  I see more waste when we buy cans for parties.  We use way less pop when we buy liters.

  • I would go with liters.  Cheaper and can get more variety.

  • If you can get them on sale I say cans. That way no need for cups of ice, just throw them in a cooler.

This.  Filling a glass can be a hassle, and we will provide glasses and ice, but I'm pretty sure most guests will drink their pop/beer/water out of the can/bottle.
