Hello ladies! I have finally decided to post an intro. I started posting last week but have lurked a lot before that! I was just going to ease into posting and not post a formal intro, but thought it might help to post something.

First, let me say that we aren't currently "trying". We are getting close, but for now just trying to get things ready and learn what we can about the whole process. I started temping/charting during my last cycle and today starts cd1 of my first full month of charting. I want to practice charting and get a pretty good idea of how my cycles work before we actually try. I am using fertilityfriend to track my temps. I have a copy of What To Expect Before You're Expecting.

As I mentioned, I haven't been posting on here long but I am loving it so far. You ladies are such a great resource. I have to laugh at some of these girls that come on here and whine because you are mean and stuff, because it seems clear to me that you're totally supportive and nice. But maybe that is because I took the time to lurk a while before posting anything. HA!

I look forward to getting to know each of you!

    When do you an DH plan to officially start TTC? I ask because DH and I are pretty much in the same boat as you.

    Welcome!  I also charted a few cycles before TTC, and it really helped me learn what is going on with my body before we start TTC.  Good luck!

    We don't have a time in mind yet. DH would start now if I would agree to it :) Right now we are just in the prep stages- exercising more, eating healthy, getting into a comfortable financial situation (paying off debt, saving money).. stuff like that. We haven't been married long (just got married oct 17, 2009) but we have been together for over ten years. If I had to guess I would say we will officually start trying in the next few months.

    Welcome!  It's a great idea to start charting before you start TTC.  Wish I had done the same!  :)

    I kinda feel like me and DH are in the same prep stage. Atleast I am. We are kind of the opposite though. DH wants to wait and I am ready to go! In In August we will have been married for 2 years and together for 4. He is still in school though and is hesitant about TTC. He said maybe around summer we can start!

    I agree with PPs definitely sounds like you are on the right track.  

    I started charting when we started TTC, but in hindsight wish I would have started charting even prior to TTC.  Good for you!

    Good luck whenever you decide to start TTC.  Hope your stay here is short and sweet.
