Breast Engorged.. pumping not helping

My Lo is a little off today.  he really didn't want to nurse this morning, so I pumped and gave him a bottle. He's got a cold and isn't feeling well.  I pumped againg when I gave him a second bottle, but I am not getting eough milk out.  My boobs are KILLING.

 

anything I can do?  I'm going to try to get him to burse at 12 because that seems to be the only thing that will help...

    You may have a clogged duct.  When you are pumping, massage your breast.  It may hurt at first but just keep at it and it should get it.

    How are you pumping?

    Heat before can help with let down. Cycle quickly to get a let down, slow the cycles to pull milk out and then cycle fast again to get another let down, keep repeating until you feel you're empty. If you're already doing this ignore me......I just know a lot of mom's who pump for 10min, just getting the first let down out and then stop.
