Grilled cheese: can I make night before? How to store?

Can I make a grilled cheese the night before and it still feel and taste as good the next day for lunch?  What can I store it in?  How to heat up?  In Microwave?  TIA

  • I don't think there's a way to store it where it won't end up soggy.

All toasted and grilled breads go soggy or chewy shortly after they're cooked.

  • You could always microwave cheese between tortillas for a quickie-style quesadilla.

ETA: That way you wouldn't have to make it ahead of time.

  • Toast the bread, then but in the cheese veggies, etc. and melt it in the oven or microwave. Oven tastes better but microwave is okay.  (At least, according to DD... )
  • Yeah, I do the super quick grilled cheese. Toast in the toaster, cheese in the microwave, spread cheese on bread, DONE! Takes 2 minutes, tops.
