Which one do you prefer? DD's skin is really dry and the regular baby lotion we have isn't really helping much. I don't have either brand here in Switzerland, so I will be ordering from an online drug store and I'm not sure which one I should try. Any recs?
TIA!
Re: Aquaphor or Aveeno??
I use CeraVe as recommended by another bumpie who is a pediatric dermatologist. It has done wonders on my dd's super dry skin. For her face though I use Aveeno calming lotion.
Given the choice, I'd say Aveeno.
DS was diagnosed with eczema this week, so we are now on an "eczema protocol"
We have to use a thick emollient (like Aquaphor), but the Aquaphor gave him another eczema reaction (it has lanolin alcohol in it, so I think that's what did it).
I wanted to buy Vaseline Deep Moisture Creamy instead, but I couldn't find it anywhere around here and needed it right away, so I ended up buying Vanicream, which I really like. I contains white petrolatum (vaseline) in it for an emollient, but is creamy so it's easier to spread than Aquaphor or straight Vaseline.
I almost bought the Aveeno, but decided on Vanicream instead.
