Ok, so we had pretty much narrowed it down to Simon Masters, but now we have a new contender in the race for Slash's official name: Wesley.
I don't know how to do a fancy clicky poll, so you'll have to reply. So, what do you like better:
Simon Masters F
OR
Wesley Masters F
Thanks for your opinions!!! And who knows we could have a whole new name by next week! this naming thing is HARD!!

Re: Name poll!!
I have a cousin named Wesley. He is the most amazing person, so in that sense I like the name. If he didn't have that name, I don't think I would be a huge fan.
What happend to Judd?

I really love Simon, and I like Wesley but I *dislike* Wes.
And I love Alex and Simon together.
BUT Wesley has good Princess Bride associations, so if you name him Wesley, I'm going to buy him a gigantic stuffed rat to be his very own ROUS (Rodent of Unusual Size)

Hunh. Pretty spilt, interesting!
I had kind of gotten used to calling him Simon in my head, but I wasn't totally sold on it. But I was calling him that in my head, know what I mean? Then DH suggested Wesley and I love it but I'm like "But, he's Simon", which is dumb because before I was like "I'm not sure if he IS Simon!".
I clearly need a glass of wine.
Too bad for me!
I do like Wes as a nickname (and I love the Princess Bride connotation- "as you wiiiiiish!") but not sure about Wes Frick- I think you need 2 syllables with our last name. Although Chris Frick has not two sylls. Hmmmm.
Judd is off the list for now, mostly because of my mom (and my family in general, they hate it). I know that is not a good reason to take it off the list, and I like it too, but my mom was extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY over the top about it. Argued and protested it for over a week. Like extremely to the fact that she actually said, and I quote, "I'm going to love this baby no matter what his name is. But I WILL NOT love him if his name is Judd!"
And no, she wasn't kidding, and yes, it's totally #$%# rude, but seriously she's my mom and I just can't deal with it. I wish I had never told her because it ruined it for me, you know? She says it sounds "hillbilly". Annoying.
Ok, keep the opinions coming...I think Simon is more "unique" or original, especially right now, so that's my official "vote"
I LOOOOVE Wesley but I think it is really gaining popularity, since my high school friend and my half-sister have new-ish (in the last 6 months) babies named Wesley.
Simon has been one of my favorite names ever since the Duran Duran days, so I say Team Simon!
Harumph -HOW RUDE! Well, I say you name him Wesley or Simon but tell her you haven't decided. Then, after he's born tell her his name is Judd and stick w/it for at least a week as her punishment. But then I'm uber-mean like that.
I have always thought Wesley was a great name. How cute is Wes?
If/when we have a little boy- we are going w/ Oliver... but, Wesley would be a hard one for me to ignore.
I agree with what she said,
