When Sam sits in his swing, and sometimes when he is sleeping, he'll have a little foam on his lips - almost like he's blowing bubbles. Is this just saliva, and if so, how much is normal?
He spits up maaaaybe once a day and is generally not a burpy guy, so I don't think it's a reflux symptom (which is what Dr. Google gave me).
So does your LO "foam at the mouth" a bit?
Re: What's with the foam at the mouth??
Lucy does this a ton! She blows bubbles that are sometimes foamy and drippy. I thought it was just saliva and assumed it was pretty normal
Love that pic of Sam - he is such a cutie!
Awww thanks!! GL with the 5K by the way! I started running again, but got sidelined by my stupid boob injury. I want to start up again, but like you - I need to teach Sam to love the BOB. Really it's the carseat that's the problem. He just hates being in it. Funny - he often stops crying if I run, versus walk. But I'm not ready to run more than a few minutes solid yet!
Anyway, have a blast - I can't wait to run a short race.

That's a great link Mrs/ Presley. Thanks.
Both Sam and Nate do the foaming at the mouth thing. I'm glad you asked b/c I was wondering myself.
GL with the run jm. I was ambitious and signed up for a 10-miler in June. I don't know what I was thinking. I haven't run in over a year and a half.
I'm sooooo glad this question was posted!! My ds has been doing it a little bit here but today he did a bunch and I got really worried. I was going to call the pedi tomorrow. I was afraid it was a symptom of something serious.
I need to stop being paranoid. Thanks to the bump, a lot of my ridiculous fears get stomped before I look like a fool asking the Dr. LOL.
