How much of an increase are you planning on giving for the second child? We are not going to double her pay, but I really am not sure what amount is fair. Currently we pay $40/day.
Well, given she is an AMAZING deal already and you aren't planning on doubling her pay, I would give her as much as you can afford in between.
When I nannied and the family had a second child I got a 50% increase although keep in mind I was making waaaay more than your nanny so doubling my pay was out of the question as well.
DS goes to an in home provider and we pay $25 per day (includes lunch/milk/juice), unless he goes half a day and doesn't eat lunch there then it is $10. I am not sure if it would be the same price for # 2 since she won't be feeding the baby food and I haven't asked, but I have prepared myself for $50 a day, but hoping it will be a little less.
