Reflux and dreamfeeding

I just read about dreamfeeding but DS has reflux. I'm assuming you don't burp the baby while dream feeding, therefore is this not recommended for reflux babies?

Re: Reflux and dreamfeeding

  • I still try to burp DS even when he is sleeping, it doesn't wake him. If he doesn't burp, I hold him for a bit before putting him in his crib. A lot of times it doesn't work for us, as in he doesn't eat. When he does, it never seems to upset his reflux.

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."

  • I burp DS anyways. He normally doesn't wake up. i would definitely burp if your DS has reflux or you may be paying for it later.

  • My dd had reflux and we did dreamfeeding a LOT!  I hope that ds will do it too!  And yes, you have to burp them, even if they didn't have reflux, they'd have bad gas if you didn't burp them.  It never woke up dd, so it was great!
