How do you have the car seats arranged?  I have a 4yo, 2yo and newborn.  I cant decide who to put in the back and whether I should move one of our captains chairs to the middle or keep them separate.  My 4yo is in a booster and needs help buckling in only.  TIA!

I don't have 3, but have other kiddos in my car at least once a week.

I have a Sienna (which I bought for this reason), which seats 3 across the middle seat.  If/when I have an infant the middle, middle seat can be connected forward. 

Otherwise I would put two seats in the middle (pull one of the sides out) put #3 and #1 in the middle and my hitting #2 in the back behind the "blank" spot.

I have a pontiac montana... it has 2 captains chairs directly behind the driver/passenger and then the bench seat in the back. I have the twins on the bench seat- I removed one of the captains chairs and put Logan rear facing in the remaining captains chair. I leave the one captains chair out b/c it leaves room for me to get in and get everyone buckled and then I also have room for a 2nd stroller (if we need both strollers) or whatever.

Mine are the same age.  DD is in a booster in the back.   DS1 is in a convertible in a captains chair behind the driver and DS2 is in a infant seat behind the passenger.

Our 6 year old DD is in the far back (along with our 14 year old DS)  in a high-back booster.  Our 4 year old DD is in the middle row, passenger side captain's chair & our 16 month old DS is in the middle row, driver's side captain's chair.

I should add that we have a Kia Sedona.  Our 4 year old is in a Graco Nautilus & our 16 month old is RFing in the My Ride 65.  The part I love most about the seating arrangement is that none of the 3 younger kids can touch one another, which is a blessing on road trips!!

I have an Odyssey and I put my 2 boys in the back on the row seat and DD is behind the passenger seat in the captains chair. My oldest needs to be buckled in still and I keep them seperated so they won't hit each other.
