GD question

Hi GD Mamas... hoping you can answer this for me.  A good friend of mine who has/had GD just gave birth early this morning.  Does GD go away immediately (can I bring her sweets to the hospital?) or does her dr. need to run tests before she is cleared to go off her GD diet?

    Most of the time it goes away after you give birth. They should be testing her blood sugar to see how she's doing.
