Back from OB

Babies are both still head down with good heartbeats.  She did an internal b/c I was having wicked bad contractions last night with back pain, almost went to L&D again, but they eventually went away.  Cervix still closed with some length, but she thinks its shortening a bit. 

Now, I am the first person to tell someone not to worry about fundal height b/c its far from an accurate measurement but 3 appts ago I measured at 34, 2 weeks ago I measured at 34, and today I measured at 33.  That doesn't help my anxiety about these small boys.  I'm trying to ignore the numbers b/c the docs aren't worrying about it, but its not exactly easy.

I am glad things went well!

I have twin brothers who were small when they were really born early.  They were only small for about 6 months.

After that they quickly caught up...and now both stand over 6'5".

did different doctors take the measurements? I have heard that no two doctors will measure someone's fundal height the same.

Same doc.  There's only one OB where I go

Sounds like things are going well. If the docs aren't worried that's a good thing, but of course hard not to worry a bit.

Sounds like things are going well with your sweet boys.  I am sure all is well since doc isn't worried but of course you are going to worry some--you're a mommy!
