We all say things on here we wish we hadn't after the fact. The girls who get the most "respect" around here put their big girl panties on and accept they made a mistake or judged to quickly (or whatever) and move on. DD usually doesn't get much respect. Just so you know for the future. Stick around...this board has lots of good insight and smart mamas

Meh, don't DD.  Everyone on this board has a different ideal situation.  Some of us get to have it, some don't, and a lot of things get taken personally and blown out of proportion on both sides.  Most people here are a little defensive, very nice and helpful, etc.  'cept Joe today apparently, wtf?

I just don't like cleaning enough to never put a diaper on my kid, but some do LOL

Really though, who cares if a bunch of strangers like you? I say what I think on this board, and if someone dislikes me for it, meh, oh well. 

I missed the OP, but IMO the Parenting board is a general topic board. If we were all carbon cut outs of each other it would be a giant snoozefest. If you need everyone to share the same babywearing or sleep training or potty training etc ideas as you in order to like them then maybe you should look into a board with a more specific topic. And on the same note, you should be able to express your views here without being ganged up on.

I could be wrong but I think I've seen the OP on the 'months' boards (6-12 months, etc.).

 In that case I totally understand her saying she wants to like us because she may be looking for a different resource to discuss parenting and get support when needed.  The baby boards have an entirely different vibe.

Welcome to the board.  Stick around, lurk a little, see that everyone gets their knickers in a twist some time.  And like I said before, I hope you get a little sleep!

I agree with expecting0207: this board tells it like it is and sometimes you are queen and sometimes it's your turn to be dogshitt. It's an un-moderated mix. And if you want to get your feathers up about your parenting choices, then DO IT. but don't delete. or at least that is my 2 cents.
