Just throw some of your baby wash in the tub while it's filling up, whatever you have will work just fine. If it's one of the thicker more lotiony ones you might have to stir it up a bit or put some on your hand and hold it under the tap to make more bubbles

Little Twig makes a baby bubble bath (I also use it with my toddler). It's natural (well, compared to most stuff on the market) and has no chemical irritants. I LOVE their products.
We give our son bubble baths using the J&J BB or the J&J bed time BB (new) He loves it, we just have to make sure we rinse him all off before getting out.
we have also tried the method baby and I was not a big fan of that.
I use the Johnson & Johnson night time stuff on DD & when I'm running her water, I put some in there. It makes it bubbly & I've never had a problem with it. I do notice that it actually helps her sleep better too!
If you move the water around with the baby soap in it, it will make bubbles. They are the baby's soap so it is perfectly safe. We do it every night.
Do watch bubble baths with little girls, they can get yeast/bladder infections. I got them due to bubble bath when I was a kid and so did a friend of mine's little girl. Doctor told both of us it was common. I wouldn't think my first suggestion would fall under that though since you are using her regular soap.
No bubble bath is good for a girl btw. It can cause urinary infections...bubble bath isn't even good for adult women. Soap in the tub isn't even good for little girls you are always supposed to clean them off. My pedi and all the books said never to put any kind of bubble bath in her bath at all even the ones that are supposedly safe for kids and babies.
Re: Way stupid question...
