On fb, would someone know if you unfriend them?

(not being petty; just weird people from HS friended me, and frankly, I don't consider any them friends).

they don't know, unless they go to your profile and they can't see it anymore. But they don't get notified of it.

If you go to their profile scroll all the way down and on the left, in blue, you will see, a remove from friends link.

Only if they are insecure enough to check their friend count everyday LOL

To delete, you do to your friends list and if you look on side each name, there's an option to delete.

They notice when facebook put up people you may know & they see your beautiful face looking at them & think she is already my friend why is that showing up & they look at their friends list & see that you are no longer a friend.  Had this happen & she re-friended me & I have not accepted her it's been over a month.
