I am still pretty new here, so looking for advice please! I started temping cd 4 this cycle, and well it was a disaster. Aside from the family emergency and the running out of tow, I was having a hard time remember to temp or forgetting to bring it with me. The drama is over now, and thankfully everything is okay. So I have a couple of questions
Do you use a specific BBT? or a regular thermometer ok?
When you started temping, do you feel it was constantly on your brain, making it hard for you and DH to have "fun" time?

Thanks for the advice ladies!
Buy a BBT they are more accurate. I have learned not to tell DH anything about my cycle and just make sex spontaneous (at least for him). He doesn't like the pressure.
I had a cheap BBT and it was giving me weird temperatures - when I bought it, hubs and I both took our temperatures a few times in a row (in the same spot in our mouth) and got numbers all over the place. I just couldn't trust that cheap on.
So, now I use a Vicks regular thermometer (it is sensitive to .1) and it works great!
I set an alarm for 4:30 each morning, take my temp and go back to sleep - I don't even look at the temp until I wake up for the day. It takes less than a minute & is totally worth it!
Precise. They are more precise. Any thermometer will give you an accurate reading. I use BD basal, which only goes to the tenths, but FF has not had any trouble detecting ovulation.
Anyway, besides that, no I do not find it makes TTC more stressful or less fun. Charting is something that takes about 1 minute out of my day, and that is it.
Good luck.
