What do you do with your digital pictures..

How do you organize them (on your computer, in a photo album)?

How often do you print them?

I have not done anything with our digital pictures since I bought the camera in December 2005. I have everything sorted on the computer by year. I think now I need to start printing each year and have a photo album for each year. Just curious what others do.

for a long time I'd print pics and put them into albums.  then I'd do photobooks on occasion and the prints,  this past year, I did one biga$$ photobook for the entire year. 

I save the copies on an external harddrive (actually two) . I know you're supposed to back them to CD/DVDs... but I have not in AGES!  Not since dd was an infant.  oops.  maybe I'll get around to that soon.  either way, externals break, cds scratch, so I like to have at least some printed out each year.  Not all, I don't have enough space for the albums that would be needed. but some.

I print the good ones and put them in albums, then make 1 nice scrap book per year, put each month of photos (or 2 if it is a slow month) on a cd, and also store in folders on the computer

I save everything on the computer - by year and then by month which makes it pretty easy to find everything.  I rarely print anything unless we need it for a specific reason or to share with someone and I also use pictures for thank you notes (write on the back and use a picture of my child at the party or opening the gift or something like that).  I make an annual family album on Shutterfly, I make my DH and Father's Day book each year and rendom stuff like that.  We back up the computer every few months as well in case something happens.
