Denton Pediatrician?

Does anyone know of a good pediatrician in denton?

Also, do I have to select a doc before I have the baby?

We use Dr Bruce Eckel with Cooks Children and we love him!  You don't have to choose before you have the baby, but if you do, he will come check out the baby at the hospital.

We didn't choose one before DD was born so we had the "on call" while we were at the hospital.  Ended up seeing Dr Eckel while we were there. He was really good but we ended up going with Dr Karen Goff (Cook Children's) because that office was closer than Dr Eckels and we had heard good things about her as well.

Her husband is also a pedi at that office and we've seen him. Both are great and if #2 is a boy, we figure he'll probably want a male doctor when he's older so we can go to one location for both kids.

 Dr Eckel's office is near Bonnie Brae and 380, Dr(s) Goff's office is at Teasley & Lillian Miller.

My DD sees Milton Squiers with Cook Children's on Bonnie Brae.  He's great!

We chose Dr. Amy Adams. She too is off Bonnie Brae. I have a friend that uses her that is a teacher and I guess a lot of women recommend her. If you have a boy she comes to the hospital to do the circumcision if you elect to have that. She seems like a great doctor, we are interviewing her next week since the baby will come the week after next. Her staff is so nice!!

We go to Dr. Amy Adams.  She is with MCNT and her partner is Dr. Carrie Jones.  Dr. Jones did DS's circ. at the hospital, since she was on call for their office that weekend.  I've heard great things about her.  We primarily see Dr. Adams.  We love her!

I love Dr.Jeff Day from Cook Children's off Teasley. He has gone above and beyond with my baby making sure to always call/see him even if it's after office hours. I could not be happier with him.
