Anyone on here use Mederma? DId it help at all?

used it for weeks on a non-pg scar, and it didn't really do anything.  i think it makes a difference how fresh the scaring is.

I've used it too...... (on old scars and a newer incision).  i'm not good about putting it on consistently.  I'm good for a few days.....then forget for a few weeks. 

My scar became less "red".  I used the 'scar patches' in the stores.... i liked those because they stay on pretty well.  I'm fair skinned....and i think my scars just look red for a while.

My husband used it consistently for months (twice a day) on a fresh surgical scar.  It didn't do squat.  Apparently, Consumer Reports says it is total voodoo - there is nothing about onion extract (the active ingredient) that has been proven to improve scars.

Have you looked into Retin-A?  I am using it and my incision scar looks amazing just after a few days of using it!
