How long for body to adjust to new BCP?

I switched my BCP recently.  The switch was just from the brand name to the generic.  I knew they wouldn't be exactly the same, but I'm suprised at how different they are.  Last month was the first month on the generics.  I felt a lot better emotionally, but had some bloating and acne.  Didn't get much of a period.  Started month 2 of the new pills and I've been bleeding lightly for over 2 weeks now.  I know it can take awhile to adjust, but how long?  Give it one more month?  The acne and bloat are much better and I still feel better emotionally, but I don't want to be bleeding nonstop.

For me it usually takes 3 months.
