Moving back to BR!

After lots of prayer and almost 4 long, long, long, long, LONG years we are finally moving back to BR!  I absolutely hated leaving because A) we were moving cross-country to California and I was just about to finish school and start a really good career.  But, DH's job was offering more opportunity (i.e. more money) and we couldn't pass it up.  Needless to say I was heartbroken to leave but boy am I happy to be coming back!  Closer to family, my best friends, and most importantly--good food!  I've noticed that the board is a little slow but I will do my best to check in and keep things going.  Living in SoCal, I was a part of a very active local board and I hope to get ours just as active.  I will keep you guys posted on our actual move and I hope to find good advice about daycares, neighborhoods, and shopping since I'm sure lots has changed since we've moved.  Looking forward to meeting y'all and talking very soon!

Yay! So jealous though. I moved to the other side of Lafayette a few years ago and man I miss BR so much! I'm glad it's only 2 hrs away though. I couldn't imagine moving across the country! When are y'all moving back? Hope it's during crawfish season! yum yum yum

I'm brand spankin' new to BR (Hubs is from NoLa), just moved here from DC 2 months ago. But I spend 5 years in Santa Monica and LOVED it! Where did you live in SoCal?
