I know your supposed to go with your gut and my gut KIND of says "yes, this would be mean" BUUUT...
MH is the pickiest eater EVER. He thinks organic food is "funny" and swears it tastes different. That being said, I buy organic as much as possible and when he doesnt KNOW its organic, he doesnt notice.
So, I was thinking about using some Boca crumbles in my mock chow mein recipe tomorrow and not telling him.
Think he will notice? And, is that mean?

Re: Would this be mean?
No, it's not mean. If he wants to eat what he wants, he can cook it.
I guess imabitch like that
LOL agreed
This is so my husband, LOL!
Not mean. Â I'd do it.
Then again, my DH eats everything, whether he likes it or not. Â He doesn't want to hurt my feelings or be rude, I guess. Â If he *really* dislikes something, he will bring it up at a random time of day, after I've served the meal 5 times. Â
Ok, that just made me laugh. That is awesome.
I agree with pp. If hes going to be picky then he can cook.
My SO is the same way and it bugs the crap out of me. I buy all of my fruits and veggies from a market instead of a grocery store and he hates that for some reason, its cheaper and I just like to do it. So I go to the market and then when I go grocery shopping I just put them into one of my bags and he doesnt know the difference. I also cooked him a black bean burger the other day and he thought it was delicious until I told him what it was.
I made stirfry and put tofu in it. H ate the hell out of it. Then I told him what was in it. Shockingly, he replied that he liked it.
Definitely not mean.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
