Can I be an AW for a minute?

My nearly 15 month old is FINALLY sleeping through the night.  ::knock on wood:: but I think it's safe to say since he's done it the last five nights.  Before that, he was waking 2-4 times a night.

I fully attribute the sudden change to him being on an antibiotic for his ear infections that finally worked (after five courses prior to this one).  I think he's probably been in pain since early fall.  I'm hoping his ears stay clear, but if his sleep habits change, I'll be adamant about tubes.

And because he's feeling better, H and I feel like we can leave the kids with my parents and get away for some much needed time alone.  We're hittin the twin cities next weekend.  Woot!

  • Nice!  I hope it lasts!

How far are the cities from you?  We have been wanting to go for a long weekend, but it just seems like there are never any free weekends!

  • Yay for sleeping babies!!! Enjoy your time away

I think it's about 6 hours from here.  We love it there.  If we were ever to move, that's probably where it would be to.

We should have a Twin Cities GTG sometime!

  • It's about 6-7 for us, too.  Depending on how many times you have to stop! Smile  I love going for a weekend.  I'm not a city girl, though, that's for sure!  LOL!  A gtg would be fun!

We could never really move there. We love it here and all our family lives here, too.  But it's definitely fun to visit!
