We still have a full/double size (I know!) bed. And yes, in the mornings when everyone piles in, DH and I only last about 5 minutes. We'll be giving the mattress to DS and convert his toddler (convertible crib) to the full size bed as soon as we find a new mattress/box. We have the room for a king size, and that's what I want, but is it necessary? I just don't think a queen is much bigger....and I want some space. But, I also don't want kids there more than they are.
What do you have? Like it/hate it?
also, once we find what we want, is there some online discounters that are reputable?
Re: s/o: bed size?
KING KING KING KING! Can you guess where I fall?
We bought a queen bed originally because in our first townhouse a king would have dominated the room. Then we brought really nice bedroom furniture and I wish i had been smarter then. I have been dying for a king but the furniture was holding us back. We finally got the king this fall (we created brackets so we could continue to use the furniture). It is wonderful!
There is alot of space between us when we sleep but sleeping is for sleeping. We have no issue getting close when we are awake!

We have a queen and I am happy with it. I like being close to DH when I sleep. We just bought a pretty expensive bed, so a queen it will be for a long time.
DH would prefer to have a California King. He's very tall, so his feet hang off the end of the bed. (Even in a King). Sheets, comforters, beds, etc. for a California King are waaaay out of my price range and hard to find.
