about MY medical condition than I do.
He swears up and down that my dr specifically said that they dont use birth control to help with endometriosis. He said that after surgery she told him this. I told him that theres no way she said that to him. That outside of surgery thats one of the main ways they "treat" it. I explained that it doesnt magically take it away, but that it can help. (With the symptoms, etc). He swears up and down that the dr told him they never use BC for it.
I just gave him a handful of info about it and he says "are you really going to ague with me about what your dr said while you were still out of it?"
Um. Yes. I know my dr. I know my body, and I know what she says/thinks because weve been dealing with this for a long time. TYVM.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Agreed. If only there was medication to help them with this problem.
Ditto.
My DH swears that our "problem" is due to him not eating properly and such ( he hasn't gotten a SA to even say the problem is on his end). I highly doubt it but I have to give him a chance before we start going to a RE.

He says "Then why would your dr tell me that?" Easy, because she didnt. Youre getting confused.
He also said "They got all the endo out." Um, no. I can see the pictures, they didnt. Dr sat there and said there was a lot in places she couldnt go near because there were too many blood vessels around it.
My dr talks very very fast. It would be easy to misunderstand her. But he swears thats what she said!

Oh, I didn't think you would go this route, just a thought...tee hee.

That's so frustrating! My DH used to do the same thing. I made him attend doctor's appointments with me so he could hear the information first hand.
My doctor didn't want to treat/diagnose my 'endometriosis' with a laparascopy at all. He put me on BCP with no breaks 'indefinitely'. He told me that endo can be controlled completely with hormone therapy (which isn't exactly condusive to TTC) My symptoms completely went away, I felt like a different person. Now that I am off BCP my symptoms are back (worse than ever) and I am pushing for a lap.
