I just wanted to share my IUD removal story with you

I went to the doc, my nurse midwife put in a speculum and yanked it out. It felt gross and unnatural but it certainly didn't hurt. And that thing hurt like a muthafuuk going in. I have a freakishly sensitive cervix and I seriously thought I was going to die it hurt so much going in. But coming out it was a breeze! I promise!

Ok, you ladies have convinced me no IUD! I'm just going to wait for Evan to have a vasectomy, which he seems to have no opposition to (it will just be a matter of timing and making sure insurance will cover it).

Just to add on to pp...it did not hurt coming out at all.

I thought I was going to pass out when they put it in...it was the worse physical pain I have EVER felt in my life even compared to my emergency csection...but coming out was at most uncomfortable.

Thanks ladies.  DH says he's fine with me going off any BC right now, but then he still refuses to have a vasectomy.  AND he doesn't think we should risk having more kids.  Umm... Hello????  Guess who's not getting any for a looooooong time then??
