Poll: When you hear Aaron/Erin do you think B or G?

Obviously a lot of people didn't get your question...I'm sure you know that Aaron is boy and Erin is girl. You just wanted to know what gender you think of when you hear it.

Yes, thanks...that's EXACTLY what I meant by the question. When you HEAR the name Erin/Aaron do you associate with a girl or a boy? But I guess the problem is also that I hav ALWAYS pronounced the two the same & I have had a couple of girl friends named Erin growing up.

i think everyone understood the question as it was asked and gave an answer based on their personal experince. Some people view them as two completely different names and others view them as different spellings of the same name.

To me they sound very different Erin is like eh-rin, aaron is aah-ron. (im not really good with the pronunciation stuff but i hope that made sense.) Plus i have never met or saw a girl named aaron or a boy named erin. It is always been gender specific to me. But nowadays all names are fair game.

I guess what everyone is trying to say is you will be fine naming a son Aaron. Erin may be viewed as a girl name.
