PIP: We have begun Baby Led Weaning

We started 6 days short of 6 months... so sue me. I had already read the book and was totally prepared, Noah was getting crazy bored at dinner and some green beans and sweet potatoes entertained him (and us!) for a good 30 minutes!

 

side note: Why does my child always look so baffled by the presence of the camera?

My bad- baby led weaning. It's basically skipping the purees and heading straight for real (soft at first) foods. Check out mdjunebrides' blog- she's basically my mentor (whether she knows it or not).

YAY!  It looks like he did great.  We're having a lot of fun w/BLW.  It's so cool to see DD explore and enjoy her foods.  So far she loves just about everything we've offered.

Great photos from a BLW mom - really shows what a young babe can consume. We're talking steak, stew, pesto, and more. Shows sizes of fruit, leaving the rind so easy to hold, etc. VERY helpful in visualizing BLW!

Awesome. We did BLW with Ethan, too. I SWEAR it has made him a very good eater!!! He's tidy, not picky and just all around great to bring to restaurants and stuff. Not too bad for a 21 month old. You won't regret it!
