I kind of like this bedding here.  My issue is that the nursery is a cornflower blue (kind of like the color of the post button below). 

Do you think they would work together or would we have to paint?

I guess it depends on your taste.  That is too much pink and blue for me but I'm sure other's would love it.

Then you can paint now and you don't have to change it when you find out the sex.

This is my plan, plus the room we're using for the nursery is closest to the master bedroom so our subsequent child(ren) will have that room when they are babies too.  Then I don't have to repaint every time I have a kid.

We painted our room a slate blue-grey.  The furniture is dark brown/espresso.  I think it'll work for either gender.

I would do this except our master bedroom is right next door and it's green!
