almost 8 lb baby too small for pre-folds

Um, we have the BG PF's smallest size and they seem wayyy too large on LO. They say they fit 8 lb & up. She's 7,13 oz. Are we missing something, or are they really just big? I feel dumb ordering more kissaluvs when I have all these prefolds.

You're probably not missing something although we never used prefolds. Justin was 9lbs and newborn clothes fit him until he was almost 2 months old...I think shape means a lot more than weight.

You are not missing anything. Babies take some time to fill out, so to speak. Just fold down the rise and snappi them nice and tight and they will work fine.

We did finally find one that worked - I think the newspaper fold for a while, then the poonico, then the angel wing fold. I also turned mine shortways.

We used preemie sized PF's for a couple of weeks, then moved into the infant size.
