High-Risk Pregnancy

really?

so i just had a mini meltdown. you know the normal stuff, tired of being stuck in here, hormonal and so uncomfortable. the last couple days i just feel like the babies are pressing all my insides up i can't eat and sometimes i just feel short of breath. i can't even drink water without feeling sick or getting heartburn.

so i am talking to my friend online and tell her i am upset, tired of being locked up, uncomfortable and her responses "you just have to tough it out." thanks for the effin sensitivity.

i am so tired of that attitude. in general i have a pretty positive outlook on all of this and am generally in good spirits, but as most of you know sometimes the confinement just gets to you. i know there is nothing someone else can do for me but how about just a bit of empathy.

Re: really?

  • ugh. I hear you. Sometimes we just needs someone to say "I'm sorry - that sucks!"

so here you go: I'm sorry, that sucks, hope it gets better soon!

  • Those comments are the worse. I got "remember in the end it will be worth it" all of the time. Obviously, but it didn't make the situation at the time any better.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough day!! It really does suck!

  • They dont get it. They dont know how it feels so they say stupid things that makes us feel awful.

I'm sorry you're having a bad day! I'm sorry your friend was sucky at understanding!

  • I really enjoy the "well you know the alternative"

Thanks- yeah- that's all I need is a little more guilt! I sooo hear you on being uncomfy- I was so excited for Olive Garden last night and I barely had a thing and then had killer heartburn all night!

Today's been good- DH went and rented some Wii games for us to play together and now he's making some potatoe soup....

  • I hate the comment  enjoy the rest now this will be the last time you will be able to rest like this, once the baby comes you will wish you were back on  bedrest.
