decal help...

This is a repost from the 2nd tri board, but I wanted to ask here too:

For anyone who has put up decals, did you need help putting them up?  I am about to embark on this adventure..so I wanted to know if I should get DH to help or just go it alone.  Just as an FYI, I am putting up a tree with some leaves.

If you're doing a large decale, you are probably going to want someone else to help you position it.

Yes, you will want help. My husband put up ours and it was quite the task. I felt like a surgeons assistant when I was helping him. And this was for a smaller decal (pic below).

I went with a large tree decal that had several leaves and other animals around it. I did it myself and it turned out fine. Decals are awesome b/c you can just peel off and restick, if needed. The only thing is that if your walls have any sort of treatment or raised surface, the decals could peel off. Mine have a weird raised treatment on them (we are renting, so didn't paint the walls), so ended up getting some double sided poster tape for the few pieces that kept falling off.
