Homemade Sheets?

Has anyone made their own crib sheets? Advice on this? I'm not finding anything I like AND this route seems like it would be much cheaper, since all I really need is the fitted sheet and not all the accessories.

I've looked for online directions and what I've found sounds easy enough to do...just wondering if anyone else has done this and had success. TIA!

    I haven't done it, but my MIL made us a couple and they came out great.  She said it was really easy.

    I made my own and I just learned how to sew a month ago.  It was not hard and they look great.  2 yards of fabric and 90 inches of elastic are all you need.
