I have 3 sacs. Two (irregularly shaped) were empty last week and are shrinking in size and one (round) is growing in size and had a fetus-like something inside (it was empty the week before). My doctor could not zoom in far enough with her machine to tell for sure or see a heartbeat. A specialist with a better machine thinks that the two smaller sacs were one big sac that collapsed. I was told by that doctor that I will most likely miscarry twins but now it looks like there's a chance that one baby will survive. I don't know exactly how far along I am. I had my last period December twenty something but am breastfeeding so my ovulation could be much later according to my doctor. I see her again on Thursday for a repeat ultrasound. I am praying for a heartbeat. If she still can't tell I will see the specialist again on Friday. I haven't had any spotting yet. Thanks for your thoughts and for reading this.
T&P headed your way, I went through a similar situation in 2008, and all 3 sacs were eventually discovered to be blighted ovums. I hope your story ends better than mine did! That is very good that they are able to see a fetus in one though!
