Medela Bottles

So today I decided that I will pump and bottle feed my babe.  Poor thing has been having so much trouble with my huge boob and chocking while feeding, latching etc.,  so using the bottle has made him much happier lad.

I purchased the medela bottles and while LO was feeding, the nipple completely flattened and I had to remove and fix for him a couple of times.  Is this a result of me doing something wrong or is this common with the medela bottles?   We also bought the playtex ventair bottles but haven't gotten a chance to use, any suggestions?

IMO, medela suck.

DD hates the madela nipples so I've been using the similac ones I was given at the hospital.

I had the same problem with those bottles!! I switched to advent and he seems to like those so much better. Hes really not to picky on which nipple as long as it gives him food haha but he gets it out a lot easier with the advent.

I hate the Medela bottles too. We've had good success with Tommee Tippee.

The nipples will flatten if you don't take them out of LOs mouth ever so often. This happens with a lot of bottle/nipple combos.
