My aunt is coming over in a bit and then DH and I are going out for a fabulous dinner complete with adult beverages. I love my baby girl, but there's nothing like some grown up time!
We brought DS out to dinner at our favorite pub the other night and he was such a good boy! He actually slept most of the time. We still haven't gone out by ourselves yet.
I'm still working up the nerve to ask someone to be subjected to the crank monster so we can go out.
I think with a colicky baby, it's even more important to get out occasionally. You have local family, right? It's their job to love the kiddo even if he's a handful.
Even DD who is generally super easy is sometimes a fuss bucket during the evening. Didn't stop us.
Re: Woo-hoo! Date night!
Have fun!
